Roberta "Bobbie" Joyner - Founder and Principal Consultant
Seasoned Career and Job Coach Strategist, Workforce Development Consultant
Born and raised in Berkeley, California my passion is to support people in their quest for a successful career—to help them navigate the work world, and to achieve their highest and happiest potential. I’ve provided job and career coaching to over 400 clients most of whom were referred by past clients.
I coach individuals to build successful careers, become highly marketable, navigate difficult interview questions, and find the right fit. My broad base of expertise in the business, education, and nonprofit sectors is the foundation that helps me to help you. For three decades I've designed education and jobs programs and helped individuals gain career path employment. My unique blend of conceptual and pragmatic expertise—ability to synthesize information, and knowledge about the changing workforce helps me help you. Attended San Francisco State University, and University of San Francisco's (Lone Mountain) master's program in Nonprofit Management.
Formerly, I directed the Haas School of Business' Young Entrepreneurs Program, and hosted small business development workshops for high school youth and women and minority entrepreneurs. Also at the University of California, I served as Director for UC's largest privately funded Incentive Awards Program that provided scholarships and on-campus support for low-income, underserved college students. Appointed to the Chancellor's Staff Advisory Committee, and the BILD Diversity Committee dedicated to creating a positive working environment for all staff.
